The next sentence: Las bebidas del tiempo, por favor. Your waiter hears this, takes a lasso (las) and grabs the drink: it is made of bears and pears, comes in a tin, and there is an ace stuck on the tin (bebidas – from the German “Bären”, “Birnen”, “Dose” and “Ass”). The tin has a dent in it (del – the German “Delle” means “dent”), and in the dent sits a tiger blowing its nose on a Tempo tissue (tiempo – “Tempo” is a German brand of paper tissue). Then the tiger runs out through the gate (por favor).
