The waiter eyes your dog, and the dog wiggles its bottom to demonstrate how gentle it is (podemos – “Po” is German for “bottom”). Under the door stands a live duck, and your dog does not react at all – how rare (entrar – the German “Ente” means “duck”). In return it gets jam (con – from the German “Konfitüre”), which tastes of nuts; when it eats it, it drips from its snout (nuestro – the German “Nuss” means “nut”, “tropft” means “drips”). Then it gets parsley, and the parsley is red (perro – from the German “Petersilie” and “rot”). Finally you go out for dinner at the restaurant and finish with tea (al restaurante).
