A flan for dessert

To the next lesson

The next sentence: De postre, un flan, por favor.

You order dessert from the waiter. He thinks for a moment (de) and says they are about to close – he would rather send you the pudding by post. You will be apart (postre – from the German “Post” and “getrennt”, “separated”), but at least not annoyed (un – from the German “ungehalten”). You can still go for a stroll outside with your wife (flan – the German “flanieren” means “to stroll”) and walk out through the gate (por favor).
