Spanish for your holiday · Chapter 6: Accommodation

How much is a room with breakfast?

To the next lesson

The next sentence: ¿Cuánto cuesta una habitación para dos personas con desayuno?

On the reception desk stands a cow eating pineapple, and suddenly it is dead (cuánto, from the German “Kuh”, “Ananas” and “tot”). The woman lays it on cow branches with cups on them (cuesta). Then you tell her about the night-time underground, the apple and the bee that flew to your uncle’s cup with the sieve (una habitación).

As a paraglider your uncle is holding the tin with the two snakes (para dos), and inside sit wet people (personas; “nass” is German for “wet”). On the tin there is a jam label (con, from the German “Konfitüre”), and the jam is served with a salty dessert that you eat in the dark, surrounded by musical notes (desayuno). You already know the word for breakfast.
