The next sentence: ¿Puede recomendarme un buen restaurante?
You ask the concierge at your hotel. Your partner is with you, powdering her nose, sitting on the elephant and stretching (puede). The concierge says there is a good restaurant nearby; you will recognise it by the deer (“Reh”) standing outside on a chest of drawers – a “Kommode” – and it is male, “männlich” (recomen). The lady of the house is incredibly friendly and hugs every guest (recomendarme; “Arme” means “arms”).
As you go in she gives you a book (“Buch”) of duck dishes – “Ente” is German for “duck” (un buen), and at the table there is always tea (restaurante).
