Wǒ yào yì píng píjiǔ means “A bottle of beer, please.” Gregor first tells the sentence as one story and then explains what each image stands for.
You ask your colleague where you should drink the beer – he takes you to a restaurant with an apple tree in front of it and a trampoline underneath: wǒ (the German “wo” means “where”). On the trampoline stands a dog that howls and looks at the horizon: yào. Inside sits a hedgehog that also sees the horizon – yì, the number one from the previous video. It plays ping-pong with a soft stroke (píng), goes for a pee with a soft gait (pí) and, with a soft stream, sprays a nine on the wall: jiǔ sounds exactly like the number nine.
