The first sentence in the city: ¿Dónde está la oficina de turismo, por favor?
From a distance you can already see the office with flags and brochures in the window. It starts to thunder – the German “Donner” (dónde) – and around the window hang branches with cups showing pictures of the city (está). Inside you hear someone laughing, the German “lachen” (la).
In the corner stands an oven (“Ofen”) with lots of wood, and the people are singing in their nightshirts – “viel”, “singen”, “Nacht” (oficina). The lady behind the counter stretches (“dehnen”) because she feels so at ease (de), and on the ceiling the tourists can see a moon (turismo). Some of them walk back out through the gate (por favor).
