You leaf through a brochure of all the landmarks. Top left is the aquarium, with jellyfish – “Quallen” in German – that look totally laid-back (cuáles). In the next picture the sun shines on a lottery-ticket seller; “Los” is German for lottery ticket (son los). Then comes an enclosure with a lynx (“Luchs”) that only eats food that is “gar”, fully cooked (lugares).
Next to the lynx enclosure is a beer garden where people are watching the EM, the European Championship. The screen – “Mattscheibe” – doesn’t glare (“blenden”) at all and is perfectly clear (emblemá), and the frame around it must have cost a fortune (ticos).
