The scallop shell

To the next lesson

The next word: concha de vieira, the scallop shell.

The shell is not round like a wheel at the top but rather conical, and whenever you have it with you, you dance the cha-cha-cha (concha). Then you think it over (de) and fancy going for a beer – “Bier” – again. In the roadhouse an elephant and a hedgehog (“Igel”) are sitting together; that feels a little eerie, so you quickly – “rasch” – move to the next table (vieira).
