Anything but easy

To the next lesson

This time there are two sentences: This project was anything but easy. I’m really glad that we managed everything so well.

You are sitting together at a table with dates laid out on it (this); next to it stands a projector that gets so hot you have to cool it with water (project was). To lift the mood you sing something (anything), and then you notice the picture on the wall: a little boat with people drinking tea – they arrived by easyJet (but easy).

For the second sentence: everybody eats an egg and drinks milk and walks over to an enormous couch that is perfectly smooth on top (I’m really glad). Behind the couch hangs a sheet of paper with all the project data, completely jumbled; a manager arrives and directs it all back into place (that we managed).

Beside it hangs a picture of Mount Everest, huge, with people singing at the top (everything), the sun is shining and its rays come down in the shape of waves (so well).
