A long sentence that shows how much the method can carry: I’m looking forward to the staff’s reaction when I tell them about our new project.
You walk into the office and four colleagues are waiting, each holding a duck egg as white as milk; in the egg there is a hatch through which you see a duck with a ring around its leg (I’m looking). The four of them are waiting (forward).
Then they run across a cloth towards an armchair where a relay race starts – and being ducks, they run in zigzags (to the staff’s). The reaction of the audience is enormous (reaction), the ducks turn once (when I) and run towards William Tell (tell), who is a bread roll balancing an apple on his son’s head (them about).
All around, cars are parked with the radio playing in every one of them (our), and the people inside say: this project is not exactly without risk (new project).
A demanding sentence – after five to ten repetitions it becomes easy. That is exactly the point of this course.
