Spanish for your holiday · Chapter 4: At the airport

Here's my passport and certificate

To the next lesson

The longest sentence of the chapter: Aquí tiene mi pasaporte y mi certificado de vacunación.

First the vaccination certificate: when you are vaccinated the serum comes in small tins (certificado), the doctor stretches your skin a little (de), you wobble with fear and moo like a cow, and he tells you to think of the nation where everybody sings (vacunación).

Then you hand over passport and certificate. Your passport shows neatly dressed children (aquí), one daughter sitting next to a tiger, the other next to ducks, with a bit of fog in between (tiene). The ducks are drinking milk (mi) with your passport lying in it, a tea bag stuck to the back (pasaporte). And a hedgehog is swimming in the milk too (y mi).
