The first stage starts with the words you need on your first day of holiday: hola, buenos días, buenas tardes, buenas noches and adiós. Then come disculpe, por favor, gracias and de nada – enough to get around Spain politely.
The second part of the chapter is about meeting people: introducing yourself, asking for someone’s name, asking how they are and answering. Plus the two sentences that help a beginner most: that you do not speak Spanish well yet, and whether the other person speaks English.
Finally five words for the landscape: Spain, the sea, the beach, the mountain and the city. At the end of the chapter all the words run past once more in two review videos – once in each direction.
